My best friend started dating a DJ at a local radio station and we were on a double date one night, and her boyfriend told me I had a great voice and I should look into doing some voice overs. He told me that he did these skits for their radio station and he would put me in one and then I could use it as demo. I did this and I had a great time doing it, and I also got a great little check for my work. Then I took my demo around to a few different radio stations. I was able to start getting work right away, doing commercials for the radio stations. Before I knew it I had a great career going.
