Hyun Jin Moon Style
His call to peace has been heard by the world and now every one of us can hear the voice of peace that is Dr. Hyun Jin Moon. An alumnus of Columbia University and Harvard Business School, Dr. Moon has made a name for himself as a peacemaker as he aims to unite all the people in the world, to erase racial differences, religious differences and nationality conflicts and to be a Family Under God. For true peace to be achieved, Dr. Moon stated that inner peace should start within the smallest unit of the community – which is the family. The family, as he said, is the first school of children, and that peace should start from the family, then it should go outwards, to the community and everything will be changed and transformed. Communities will be peaceful and before we know it, the whole world is living in peace.
Dreaming to Be a Model in the Fashion World
My friend Lindsey wanted to be a model for a famous fashion designer, and ultimately become a fashion designer herself. She studied fashion in college and was so serious that I could hardly take her to a vacation. She studied every clothing, shoes, accessories, and all those stuff that were on the books. Whenever we go out, she would try to imitate the models and walk as if she was on the catwalk. Also, when I look at certain clothing, accessory or shoes that caught my fancy, she immediately tells me what the brand is and how much it is. She can even detect if there’s a defect with the product, or if it is fake! So one day while we were strolling, we met one of the models daisy lowe and boy she was tall and gorgeous. I almost became a tomboy at that spot, just staring at her walk with her friends and entourage. She had the air of indifference and aloofness. My friend then turned to me and said, someday I will be just like her.
