I Bought a Beginner Ukulele for My Sister
My sister is just beginning to learn how to play instruments but out of all the instruments, I noticed that she liked playing the ukulele. I decided to help her pursue this interest by buying a beginner ukulele for her. I bought at a music store where my cousin works at. They have a lot of ukuleles but I was looking for a particular ukulele that was child friendly. Good thing they had a wide array of beginner ukuleles available because I got to choose one that was just perfect for my sister.
I got it wrapped in pink gift paper. I went home and handed the present to her. She was surprised because it wasn’t her birthday. I’ve been a big fan of the Beatles and Paul McCartney since I was ten years old. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong decade. My First Guitar
I had just bought a new guitar and it is my best guitar so far. It is going to join my collection of 4 guitars at home. Why do I need so many? Well, there are just so many types of guitars out there and all with different functions too. Out of all these, I love the acoustic guitar the most. I have two of them, one of which was the latest addition. I had always loved guitar. I have never considered myself a noisy neighbor and I have never considered myself living in a noisy neighborhood. That is until I heard my neighbors playing their guitars at the last next door! The Best Acoustic Guitar player throughout time is, in my humble opinion, Paco de Lucia. I suppose mainly Europeans would know who he is since he is not well know in the U.S. at all. He is the greatest acoustic guitar player ever! He has such control over his guitar. And his speed is truly unmatched. He is a Spaniard who has been in the music industry for decades. I grew up listening to his music. I believe he used to be heartthrob during my Mom’s teenage years so he has definitely been around a long, long time. It is his amazing skill that has kept him popular and still is considered one of the great and is idolized still today. We missed a chance to see him in concert last year in Valencia, Spain. We had just arrived and there was a major festival about to start in which he was a headliner. Unfortunately, tickets were sold out.
I Love Going to Performances at the Moody Theater
I love going to performances at the moody theater. They are the only place that get really great acts for miles around. They always seem to book the best bands really quickly, and the tickets are so well priced, that I could not imagine going to a concert anywhere else! There are sometimes when it is hard to decline an invitation especially if you have
seen it all and heard it all. The first week to a new job is normally a week
filled with an excitement and a week filled with the best of you. I mean you
become the most relentless worker in the organization and if you hear one or
two people making complaints on their tasks, you would not understand. The
second week, you are more or less accustomed to one or two workers and you
start gaining the momentum of this new work place. However, this is not the
case a few months later where everyone becomes family; you can almost pick
quarrels with no apologies’, form small ‘coalition governments’ and if possible
form a ‘coo de ta’ against the management. Then you receive an invitation to
the party and my friend asks me to help her sing a song for the company since
