Oral Presentations
All Speakers have been informed in advance about their allocated time in the invitation letters.
• Oration, Keynote Lecture : 25 min. presentation and 5 min. discussion
• Lunch Symposium : 75 min. presentation and 15 min. discussion
• Symposium (90-min. session, 5 speakers): 15 min. presentation and 3 min. discussion
• Symposium (75-min. session, 6 speakers): 10 min. presentation and 2 min. discussion
• Symposium (75-min. session, 4 speakers): 15 min. presentation and 3 min. discussion
• Symposium (60-min.session, 4 speakers): 12 min. presentation and 3 min. discussion
• Symposium (60-min.session, 3 speakers): 15 min. presentation and 3 min. discussion
• Oral abstract presentation (free papers) : 8 min. presentation and 3 min. discussion
Please follow the Chairperson’s instruction, especially on the duration of your presentation.
Poster Presentation and Discussion Sessions
Posters will be displayed on special boards. The Scientific Committee will provide the boards with
attached number of your poster only. The title, authors’name, institution and country should be labeled
clearly on the top of your poster. Each poster should be about 120 cm (height) X 80 cm (width). Office supplies for mounting will be provided on-site. Each poster will be displayed on boards throughout
the 2-day congress.
Each Poster Presenter will have an allocated specific time for their “Poster Presentation and Discussion”.
There will a moderator for each Poster Session. Each Presenter is requested to show up at your
poster at the specific time of your assignment to present and discuss your study.
Each Presenter will have 5 min. presentation and discussion.
Poster Set up : 08:00 - 09.00 Thursday, November 20,2008
Removal : 15:00 - 16.00 Friday, November 21,2008
Audio-Visual Aids
Your presentation folder will be transferred to 2 computers (laptop) in each lecture room. Each presentation
room will be equipped with a LCD projector and 2 computers. One computer will be on the
podium which you can control by yourself during presentation. The second computer will also contain
your folder. If the podium computer has any problem, the technician/doctor in the lecture room
will switch to this second computer and control for the speaker.
Speaker Ready Room
Please be sure to visit the Speaker Ready Room on the day before your presentation and download
your presentation file(s) to the on-site computer or if you bring your own laptop, please be sure to test
the compatibility with the congress audio-visual equipment.
